About The Cockroach

Hello. Welcome to Kissing The Cockroach! I am a woman who has spent most of her life in pain. All kinds. This blog is about what it was like growing up in a dungeon, choosing to remain in that dungeon, and the journey of ascending to the light.

Since I just started this blog today, February 22, 2012, I have no content. Why? Because I have been too afraid to write about it. That ends now.

UPDATE: 3/21/2012. A month later. I am writing. But it is jumbled. I’ll do my best to link to other posts or to make some sense of it in the end. But who knows when that is….

Another update! I lived a few years longer and made it to 45. My story is not over. 8/12/18

If you have stumbled upon this blog, and wish to learn about the following, please feel free to take a secret peek into my world and keep reading. You may be going through some of this yourself. • Thank you very much. I didn’t expect anyone else to be interested in all of this when I started it just a few days ago. I read about Horatio. It does take one to know one. 🙂

  5. Thanks for stumbling on my blog today so that I could find YOURS!! :). You are a beautiful person and an amazing writer. I always feel such mixed emotion when connecting with another person who gets it. I’m thankful that someone understands and I feel less alone in the world, but am at the same time so sad that there is yet one more person who knows and understands. I look forward to reading more and hearing your story and watching more healing unfold for you. Peace.

    • That’s exactly how I felt when I found you! It’s like we’ve always been here but squeezing our eyes closed. Sort of a strange melancholy mixed with relief that someone else gets it.
      Look forward to reconnecting!
